Michael Cummaudo is the Head of Property Management at Preston, and is well suited to the position – having grown up in Thornbury and going to school in Preston, his knowledge of the area is invaluable to his team and clients. He knows the attractions and benefits of the local suburbs, as well
as many people who make up the community and surrounds.

Michael is an accomplished sales agent who is now specialising in property management, which gives him an added value for his clients. He has successfully managed a large portfolio of properties for many years, which enables him to use his intimate understanding of the properties and the area to get exceptional results for vendors.

After all, there’s no one better to sell a home than the person who has helped to care for it over time.

In addition to his extensive sales and property management experience, Michael Cummaudo completed his Property Agents Representative course at NMIT Preston in 2007 and also holds a Certificate 3 and Certificate IV in Property Services in Real Estate. He also previously owned and managed a small company in the event management and online retail space, giving him first-hand experience in the finer points of business.

His passion is to provide the highest level of service to his clients – making the process enjoyable, stress-free, and committing to going the extra mile to make the difference between a good result and an outstanding result.

We spoke to Michael about his role at Love & Co. and living in Darebin Shire.

What do you like most about working at Love & Co?
I enjoy being able to come into our office each day and find myself surrounded by an amazing team. The staff at our office is what really makes up the business and together we have built up such a successful company.

What does a typical day at work look like for you?
A typical day for me consists of a lot of problem-solving in property management, liaising with landlords and tenants, opening for inspections – and heaps of coffee.

What are the most important skills and qualities that make your team successful?
Our team is successful because of the high quality of their teamwork. Being there to assist each other is very important in our office.

What do you love about living/working in Preston?
I personally love the abundance of amazing restaurants & cafes. The iconic Preston market is always a fun place to visit with the freshest produce and great stores. There are some great parklands and outdoor spaces to be discovered around Preston.

What is your favourite local business and why?
My favourite local business is the Pausa Pranzo Café. They offer freshly made panini with quality local and important products, friendly staff and most importantly great coffee.
