Team Talk with Daniel Zhang

Team Talk with Daniel Zhang

Bringing a fresh approach and youthful enthusiasm to his Sales PA role, Daniel’s long-term ambition is to be known as the ‘go-to guy’ for all things local real estate – someone that people can turn to for astute advice and clever market insight.

He is embracing the opportunity to build relationships with clients and express his ideas, and they are quickly seeing his problem-solving skills and ability to think analytically are great assets.

We caught up with Daniel to find out what she loves about property, his favourite thing about Preston and what it’s like working at Love & Co.

What do you love about living/working in the North?

The North offers a bit of everything and is one of the most diverse regions of Melbourne. The dynamic and lively atmosphere is what I believe separates it from the rest. I’m a proud Preston local –  it’s an area that really has something for everyone.

What has been your most memorable listing/sale/client?

It would have to be 140 Plenty Road because of the uniqueness in its design. The multipurpose building offers a business space on the ground floor, while the first floor provides a spacious one bedroom apartment. Talk about a 30 second trip to work without it impacting your home life!

What is your stance on the current market?

It has been a very bullish market in the past few months that has started to experience the first stages of settling. There is high demand and a low supply, especially in the Inner North.

What positives do you think have come from Covid-19 and lockdowns for the real estate industry?

There has been a really clear shift towards using time more efficiently and the introduction of more innovative ways to cater for our clients with restrictions in place.

What do you like most about working at Love & Co?

The experience and value we are able to bring to our clients because we care. I was also really drawn to the supportive culture and the welcoming team of people – I admire their passion, drive and progressive vision.

What are the most unique skills and qualities that you feel make your team successful?

I believe our transparency and our emphasis on trust is what makes our team successful.

What is your favourite local business and why?

Tonda Italian because they do some amazing pasta! Inspired by the trattorias of Italy, they serve up authentic Italian favourites made with the freshest ingredients and traditional handmade techniques. You must check them out!
